The Scotch-Brite™ Radial Bristle Disc features 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain and molded, flexible bristles that provide greater surface contact than wire brushes and maintain abrasive power over the life of the disc. Our fast-moving disc removes large areas of surface imperfections such as paint, stains, burns and rust.
Effectively remove paint, stain, adhesives, weld burn, rust, heavy oxides and surface contaminants from large areas with the fast-rotating Scotch-Brite™ Radial Bristle Disc. Our durable discs are designed to cut faster and last longer than wire abrasives and other discs. They perform well on aluminum, brass, bronze, carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel and other metals. Recommended for general industrial, aerospace, automotive, metalworking and transportation applications. These discs use molded, flexible bristles that provide greater surface contact than wire brushes to achieve the desired finish and stay securely in place under light pressure. Our discs feature 3M ceramic aluminum oxide blend, a premium-performance ceramic mineral designed to increase the durability and hardness of the mineral. This ceramic aluminum oxide blend is designed to break down frequently and outperform aluminum oxide abrasives in cut speed and longevity. Ceramic abrasives are designed to withstand applications that involve intense heat and stress. Unique surface preparation products that combine nonwoven fiber materials with abrasives, Scotch-Brite abrasives provide an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the life of the product. The open web material operates without heating up and resists loading, limiting clogging in the fibers and allowing the abrasive minerals to continue cutting at high speed.
