Our cloth belts feature 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Mineral, which is angled to form sharp points using electrostatic methods and acts as a separate cutting tool that cuts through metal in a short time. These sharp points continuously sharpen as they break, requiring less pressure while extending life and increasing consistency. That's why our belt products cut better and last longer than any conventional ceramic industrial abrasive product on the market. Fabric yarn provides strength in medium to high pressure grinding applications. Our abrasive belts are available in a variety of thicknesses and sizes to fit almost any industrial sander. Narrow belts are used on portable belt sanders for grinding or mixing. Medium-width belts are used for weld cleaning, material removal, sanding stainless steel, and benchtops, while wide belts are used on wide belt sanders for sheet metal and coil work.
