The abrasive is also bonded firmly to the backing with resin, providing durability at high temperatures and pressures. The coarse grits 36-80 have a YF-weighted backing, while the fine grits 120-180 have a lighter XF-weighted backing. Both weights have moderate flex and conformability to flat surfaces with light contours.
